WABIAD is a full day of writing, illustrating and editing. It is a great activity for those who love the thrill of working in a team to produce a literary work.
WABIAD 2024 is on Thursday August 1, 2024. This year we have over 75 participants.
Teams are entered into the competition via a $70 payment made by the library. This is because we support your endeavours. In return you make a commitment to participate to the end, for the benefit of your team. You are also asked to consider raising sponsorship funds for the Kids Cancer Project. This allows your team, once $240 is reached, to have the book entered into the competition and added to the Online Library of books.
The books written on the day are read to sick children in hospital.
